The Kennedy Rocker story began with P&P Chair Company in Asheboro, North Carolina. Craftspeople shaped solid wood and wove natural cane into chairs made for unhurried comfort.
President John F. Kennedy used this style of rocker in the White House, at Camp David, and while traveling. After P&P closed, Troutman Chair Company acquired the name and design and continues making the Official Kennedy Rocker® in North Carolina today.
