American Made Armless Rocking Chair
An Armless Rocker Made for Freedom of Movement
Aunt Annie's Rocker combines traditional wooden rocking chair craftsmanship with a distinctive armless design that leaves your arms completely unrestricted. Long favored by musicians and people who appreciate a more open seating position, its compact frame, double scooped seat, steam bent back posts, and curved back create a comfortable rocker with a character all its own.
Freedom Without Chair Arms
The open armless design allows unrestricted movement beside the body, making the chair especially practical for guitar players, banjo players, other musicians, and anyone who prefers a less confined seating position.
Double Scooped Seat Comfort
The wooden seat is contoured both side to side and front to back, providing a shaped sitting surface rather than the hard feel of a simple flat wooden seat.
Steam Bent, Curved Back
Steam bent back posts and a carefully curved back provide support while giving Aunt Annie's Rocker its traditional profile and comfortable sitting position.
Traditional Interlocking Joinery
Interlocking joinery and swelled joint construction create strong wood connections without relying on glue, using time tested chair making techniques designed for regular use.

A Favorite Style for Musicians and Gathering Spaces
The absence of arms makes Aunt Annie's Rocker particularly useful anywhere freedom of movement matters. Musicians can hold and play an instrument without chair arms getting in the way, while its compact profile also makes it easy to use in classrooms, churches, nurseries, music rooms, and other shared spaces.
This style was historically known as a nursery rocker and has seen use in churches, hospital nurseries, and school classrooms, giving it a long tradition beyond the front porch.

Annie rocking chair
My husband wanted an armless rocking chair to play his guitar and he loves it. The product came as expected, minimal assembly which came with clear instructions. I loved the hand written note.

Beautiful little rocker
I gave this beautiful little rocker 5 stars ... and it's a cutie! It is solid and well made and looks like it will last a lifetime!! I didn't realize how small it is ... IMHO ... a child's chair ... I was thrilled to find a "pickin' chair" but I'm 6ft tall ... and this little cutie is too small for me.
