More room with a contoured lumbar back

Choose the Plantation Lumbar Rocker for its 24 inch maximum seat width, 48 inch overall height, and shaped lumbar slats. It offers more sitting room than the Classic Lumbar model. Check the inside arm measurements too: the widest part of the seat does not describe all the usable space between the arms.

Fit and dimensions

Compare seat depth, seat height at rest, and the space between the arms with a chair you find comfortable. Leave clearance in front and behind for the rocking motion. Overall dimensions describe the chair at rest, not its full rocking clearance.

What happens after you order?
  1. Order confirmation: You receive confirmation of your order and selected options.
  2. Factory scheduling: We submit your configuration to Troutman and share the estimated production or shipping window when the factory responds.
  3. Shipping notification: When your furniture ships, we provide the available tracking or carrier information.
  4. Delivery arrangements: For freight shipments, the carrier contacts you to arrange delivery. Your delivery estimate becomes clearer once the shipment is underway.

Will this model fit?

Use the Fit and dimensions section to compare seat height, width, depth and any inside arm measurements with a chair you find comfortable. Overall width and depth describe the footprint, not the sitting space. Allow extra room in front and behind for the rocking motion. Compare rocking chairs.

What assembly is required?

The rocker runners must be attached after delivery. Follow the supplied instructions and use the included nails; correct installation is important for safe use. Watch Troutman’s runner assembly instructions. Assembly is your responsibility.

Is it right for my location?

For this model, Troutman recommends keeping finished furniture under cover to help it last. For porch use, confirm your selected finish and how sheltered the location is with us before ordering. An unfinished option does not have the protection of a factory finish.

Finish appearance & color matching

Swatches and product photos are references. Screen settings, room lighting and natural wood grain can change how a finish looks. We cannot guarantee an exact match to your screen or existing furniture.

Changes, returns, warranty & damage support

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible. Available changes depend on factory progress and must be confirmed. A 15% cancellation fee applies after production begins. Once the order ships, the return policy applies.

What if I need to return it?

Eligible returns must be arranged within 30 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies. Items must be in their original packaging and in new or like new condition. You pay return shipping unless an approved damage claim or another agreed exception covers it. Refunds are processed within 30 days after receipt and confirmation of return condition.

What warranty applies?

Troutman publishes a lifetime frame warranty for its chairs. Contact us for help confirming the current written terms for this model, your intended use, covered components and any claim costs. Coverage for seats, finishes and other components must be confirmed with Troutman.

What if it arrives damaged?

For freight delivery, inspect before signing and write visible damage on the carrier’s Bill of Lading. You may refuse significant damage. For damage discovered after delivery, contact us promptly with photos and keep the carton and packaging. We help coordinate the claim; transportation coverage depends on claim approval.

Planning for freight delivery

Standard freight delivery is curbside. Without liftgate service, you are responsible for unloading your furniture from the truck and arranging the help needed. Driver assistance is not guaranteed. A liftgate lowers the shipment from the truck to ground level; it does not include carrying furniture inside. Liftgate and inside delivery services cost extra and must be arranged in advance.
